World War II Veterans

There would be no web site here today if it weren’t for the veterans who fought in World War II. Young boys with their entire lives ahead of them went off to face a vicious enemy, and so many did not return.

Those who did return were called “The Greatest Generation” in a book written by Tom Brokaw. The picture of the Flag being raised over Iwo Jima is literally a picture that represents the freedom we have and enjoy today.

It should give us hope that we will prevail as a nation, and that our goodness will overcome our failings.
